My Quilts – Finished Projects

I love to quilt. There is no way around it. It is a silly hobby on one hand, and so rewarding on the other. To take perfectly good fabric, cut it up, just so you can sew it all back together is a bit silly. But I sure do love the results. The quilts I do combined with my travel make these projects that take me years to complete (most of the time). Here are some of my completed quilts:

Amish School Houses

These are Amish School Houses all hand pieced and hand quilted using hand dyed Batik fabric.

Butterfly Garden My butterfly garden is made up of 2 inch square pieces of fabric. Machine pieces and Hand quilted.

Sumatra This was designed by Jinny Beyer. Hand pieced and hand quilted using all Jinny Beyer fabrics. It is approximately 96 inches square.

This was fun.  I painted this one.  I have been having fun playing with different things this year!

This is Mother Earth.  It will be a winter scene with Mother Earth and her children curling up below earth for the winter until they can emerge in the Spring.  These are two little bus that are holding candles for Mother Earth and the kids 😉
